    The Eggebrecht family acquires Welcome Dairy, the Colby, WI plant, and 50+ years of cheese manufacturing expertise.
    1966
    Welcome Dairy establishes our own brand.
    1984
    Welcome enters the process cheese category, coins the name “functional cheese”, and invests in its first functional cheese production line.
    1993
    Welcome exits the natural cheese business to focus on functional cheese.
    1997
    Welcome adds second functional cheese production line.
    Welcome builds cold storage facility in Unity, WI with store capacity of approximately 8-million pounds.
    1998
    Welcome partners with Gamay Food Ingredients to produce and package liquid cheese pouch products.
    1999
    Following extensive research and development, Welcome and Gamay begin liquid cheese pouch sales and win the packaged dinner business of a major grocery chain.
    2005
    Welcome completes expansion project to double plant capacity in Colby, adding its 3rd and 4th lines.
    2012
    Welcome undergoes second major expansion again doubling production and storage capacity.
    2014
    Welcome and Gamay introduce Single Serve Dipping Cups and Food Service pouches for dairy-based dips/sauces and dipping cups for school lunch program serving as springboard for new cup business.
    2015
    Welcome completes 10,000 sq. ft. office renovation and addition.
    2016
    Welcome acquires Gamay after nearly two decades of partnering as independent companies.
    2018
    Welcome adds lines 7 and 8 with the capacity for a 9th line during a 62,000 sq. ft.
