1899-1953 - Welcome Dairy in Colby, WI is established as a natural cheese manufacturing co-op. The Eggebrecht family acquires Welcome Dairy with its 50+ years of cheese manufacturing expertise.
1966-1984 - Welcome establishes its own brand and eventually produces process cheese or “functional cheese”.
1993-1997 - Welcome decides to only produce “functional cheese” and adds production line 2. A cold storage facility is built in Unity, WI.
1998-1999 - Welcome partners with Gamay Food Ingredients in New Berlin, WI to produce liquid cheese pouch products and wins the business of a major grocery chain.
2005 - Welcome adds lines 3 and 4 doubling plant capacity.
2012-2014 – Another major expansion doubles production and storage capacity. Welcome and Gamay introduce Single Serve Dipping Cups and Food Service pouches for dairy-based dips/sauces for school lunch programs serving as springboard for new cup business.
2015-2016 - Welcome completes office expansion. Welcome acquires Gamay.
2018-2019 - Welcome adds lines 7 and 8 with a capacity for line 9. New Heritage Partners with Welcome Dairy Holdings. Making Gamay Flavor and Ingredients a subsidiary with Welcome Dairy.
2021 – Welcome Dairy Holdings purchases North Start Processing in Litchfield MN, expanding our powdered dairy offerings.
2022 – Rebranded as Revela Foods
2024 – ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) acquires Revela Foods
